Meeting was held on Friday, July 17, 2009 at the LA Vocational Institute Los Angeles headquarters. Afternoon activities for Mrs. Jessalyn Marchal and Dr. Ramaz Mitaishvili included a plenary session; two workshop sessions (topics included: strategic planning progress report; improvement in medical education; and faculty feedback); a posters presentation; and a reception following the day’s activities. Ms. Vana Bashan, Interim Director, provided brief remarks during the reception. The following presentations were given by Dr. Ramaz Mitaishvili, and Mrs. Jessalyn Marchal.
RM Global Health Inc.(RMGH) and LA Vocational Institute (LAVI) propose a strategic partnership to pursue a long-term work plan – open to participation by all medical programs – intended to have a decisive impact on medical education in particular and ultimately on health professions education in general.
